Design Intent
The Minimal Trading office was conceived as a workspace that feels neither sterile nor cluttered — a space where focus and creativity coexist. The brief called for an environment that reflects the company's modern outlook while maintaining warmth and character. We responded with a material-driven approach: raw concrete ceilings and walls set the industrial tone, while marble accents and timber elements soften the edges.
Material Language
Each cabin tells its story through a distinct material combination. White-veined marble panels serve as dramatic feature walls, framed by black steel gridwork that lends structure and rhythm. Warm oak panelling wraps corners and partitions, introducing a natural counterpoint to the cool greys. Terracotta-toned open shelving — housing sculptural objects and books — adds personality without clutter. Glass partitions maintain visual connectivity across the floor plate while preserving acoustic privacy.
Crafted Workspaces
The individual workstations are deliberately restrained: clean-lined desks, ergonomic seating, and generous daylight from floor-to-ceiling windows. Indoor plants punctuate the concrete palette with life and colour. Track lighting on exposed ceiling rails provides focused task illumination while reinforcing the honest, unfinished aesthetic. The result is an office that feels considered in every detail — a place designed not just to work in, but to think in.
