GIDC Warehouse Conversion
The Brief
When Ankleshwar Industrial Group approached us, they had a challenge many growing companies face: a functional but uninspiring warehouse space that needed to serve as both a working office and a statement of the company's evolution. The brief was clear — preserve the honest, industrial character of the existing structure while making it a place people want to come to work every day.
Raw & Refined
We kept the exposed concrete ceilings and columns as a deliberate design choice, celebrating the building's industrial DNA. Against this raw backdrop, we introduced a carefully edited palette of materials: warm oak timber panelling, white-veined marble feature walls framed in black steel, and terracotta-toned open shelving that adds warmth without pretension. The contrast between rough and polished surfaces creates spaces that feel both grounded and aspirational.
Light & Transparency
Floor-to-ceiling glass partitions divide individual cabins while preserving visual connectivity across the entire floor plate. Natural daylight floods through large industrial windows, reducing dependency on artificial lighting and connecting occupants to the rhythm of the day outside. Track lighting on exposed ceiling rails provides focused task illumination, reinforcing the honest, utilitarian aesthetic.
